Instrtuctions To Embed You Tube Video In Forum Post

To "embed" a you tube video in a post, do NOT select the "embed" code found on the right on you tube. That is for embedding in page code of website when you write the page. Instead follow instructions below:


....1- Select the URL code, copy and paste it in your post. This Video For Example Is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99-jcla0MHc

....2- NEXT delete everything up through "v=". In this example you end up with "99-jcla0MHc"

....3- Finally, highlight or select this code then at the top right click on "youtube" It will add youtube commands to the highlighted line. Click on preview and you will see your video in your post. Click on submit and you are done!

I think I might just add one more thing...

Sometimes when you visit a youtube page by clicking a link, eg from the "related videos" bar, you get code in the URL that looks like this...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99-jcla0MHcsearch=related

That search=related has to be also deleted from what you put in between the youtube tags.

If you see stuff like that in the URL, I suggest copy and pasting the Video Title into the youtube search bar, and reaccessing the video through there.
