Turtleknife on BlogTV.com

Postby Marty Smith » Thu Jul 30, 2009 12:43 am

Hey gang. I will be broadcasting live during selected tournaments on BlogTV starting this week. You can visit my page at the address below (at least for now) where you can chat live with me as I go through my hands in the tournament. This is also where you can ask questions or just chat me up. As you know, I do not like to chat in the poker site chat box too much, so this is a great way to get in contact with me, or just chat it up a little.

I will let you know when the first tournament will be broadcast via email, twitter, and this forum. You do not need an account at BlogTv to watch, but you will need one to chat. It is free to sign up and very fast.

This Friday (July 31st) night at 11:55PM EST, you can join me for the Midnight Madness on Full Tilt. Play along, chat along or just leer, but it should be fun. I will be plugged in on video. I promise to stay on for at least an hour chatting it up and discussing hands, software, tournaments, poker, or girls with nice eyes... whatever you like.

For those that will be on live chat at Marty's Blog TV tonight during the show please review the rules below. There will be a lot of people and two games going on at the same time along with Marty's show broadcasting the event. Some or all of the mods will be playing as well. This means there will be even less time available to mods for interactions than during a regular show. There is no time for pleasantries like warnings, there are no warnings and there is zero tolerance. Infractions of the rules are cause for instant boot from the chat. You can log back in just don't do again whatever it was you did that got you booted. If you get banned, that is from Marty and not reversible until after private emails with him after the show, tomorrow, or sometime this week. Sysops (mods) only kick/boot so you will know if you get a banned message, it's from the big cheese.

Nothing personal toward anyone and mods will be acting swiftly when they see an occurence that requires it. It's real simple and pretty much is same thing in the forum. Watch the lanquage. While emotions can run high and an expletive just hits right tone, mask it like "fck" for example. Avoid a string of profanity which serves no purpose. Careful of sexual inuendo that it does not over step boundaries. Remember that the users are going to be mixed gender and while all adults, this is not an adult show. There are a lot of "crazies" on the net and they find their way into everything. We've had a couple "weirdos" so far that got off on some strange tangent and got the boot asap. Just remember, there are NO warnings. There is no time to types warnings and keep track of who got warned when. So it's zero tolerance and any mod can boot but only Marty can ban, so if you get booted, that is your warning and you can get back in by closing out and logging back in.

Blog-TV rules reminder: No porn/sex/adult oriented material.

Marty's Blog Chat rules:
NO LINKS that have not been pre-approved.
No excessive profanity or vulgar lanquage.
No flaming or personal attacks.

We have ZERO TOLERANCE and do not issue warnings, you get insta-boot.

Thank you for your cooperation

NOTE-PREAPPROVED LINKS INCLUDE:
Link to any of Marty's websites
Link to any post in this forum
Link to any hand on http://www.pokerhand.org
Link to any history on http://www.Gutshot.com

Just like in the forum, anything else PM a mod but don't expect an answer to get it into the chat during the show as there probably won't be enough time to review anything.
