I played for a little while, the competition is very weak at the moment, I would say every form of players is trying it out, playing bad cash games. Your comment about stealing was quite true, I was stealing a lot but also 3betting out of the blinds and also IP, without a premium hand, it is almost impossible to play a hand oop in a 3bet pot ESPECIALLY with no information on how the 3 bettor is playing.

I don't think you will be seeing many "Rush Regs" because most poker players CRAVE information on their opponents, but to pass the time and have a bit of fun, this is a really cool format of the game.

I wonder if it will stick.

played 4 tables of 50nl for a little over an hour. 2k hands (ridiculous!) and was up about 3 buyins.

I honestly dont like it that much tho, hope it becomes a fad or something.

lol just looked at my stats for the session playing Rush

Played a 40/38 at 6 max 3 betting 25% of the time :)

Obviously my redline is making a steady profit, and so is my blue line. The $25nl games are like shooting fish in a barrel.

Haven't played it yet, but in thinking about it I realized that:

1) A HUD is useless because it takes at least two hands for them to bring up the stats on the players and you get a new table each hand.
This makes buying millions of hands from a hand history company useless because the HUD never has time to bring up the stats.
So you can't play people by their stats. You can only play your hand against the odds. No time to analyze players and try to get in their head.

2) Players who know each other can't get at the same table to collude easily. They might join the same table to start but they would be separated at the next hand most likely.
It would just be a matter of chance if they both hit the same table again.

I think I will try it today and see how it goes. Sounds like it could be fun.

Probably not the game for people who are looking to make a living playing online.
Ummm.... excuse me ... can I unfold?

I basically said the exact same on blogtv especially about "passing the time" Professor gives a 5-10minute break, during class, instead of searching for 16good tables to play, i just open 4of these and see like 500hands in 10minutes :)

Just an observation but wouldn't this format be a boon to short stackers and BOTS. Seems like this is custom made for them. No situational plays, just play the odds.

Just gave it a quick try, played 10nl and doubled up in less than 15 minutes. Also watched the FTP's build up at a steady pace.

Took a quick look at my cards and position then hit the quick fold button if I wasn't going to play. Saw a lot of hands while playing basic ABC poker.

Have to admit I like it because it eliminates the one thing that I dislike about poker - boredom

Stuff me, I can't believe I did not see it before! Short stacking is absolutely the way to go. Has to be. You apply all of the established fail safe maths of a GOOD SS strategy and you get to see 5 times as many hands. That transforms the equivalent termite WR of 1 to 2 bbs/100 to 5 to 10bb/100 and given the increased fold equity, probably more.
